Can I Replace a Gas Fire and Keep My Existing Fireplace?
In many cases, yes — it can be possible to replace the fire and keep the fireplace you already have. We do not guarantee that every opening will accept a burner from our range.
Traditional, Victorian and period fireplaces vary. The important factor is whether a suitable burner can be matched to the shape and dimensions of the existing opening.
Our range includes rectangular, tapered and Victorian-style burner trays. Use the burner finder as a starting point. Where measurements fall outside a standard fit, the finder asks for engineer review. That does not mean every fireplace can be modified.
Gas appliances must be installed and commissioned by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. This guide does not cover gas connections, conversion or combustion adjustment.
