Inset Gas Fires for Victorian and Traditional Fireplaces
Older fireplace openings vary a great deal. That is why we offer rectangular, tapered and Victorian-style burner trays rather than one universal shape.
Accurate millimetre measurements help you keep the existing surround while replacing the fire inside. Coal-effect and coals-and-logs appearances are available, as are Natural Gas and LPG on the appropriate configurations. Manual control is available across the range; remote control is available on 142mm, 179mm and 218mm heights.

Gas appliances must be installed and commissioned by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. This guide does not cover gas connections, conversion or combustion adjustment.
FAQs
Why do traditional openings vary so much?
They were built to different surrounds and older appliances. Measuring the opening is more reliable than assuming a standard size.
Can I keep the original surround?
Often that is the aim, provided a suitable burner can be matched to the opening.
